Lee's Story
After leaving Wiesbaden in summer of '60 my family relocated to Alamogordo, NM. I graduated from hs there in '61. I went to New Mexico St U from 61-64, but didn't graduated from college until later because I was raising our 3 girls. I met my husband, John, at NMSU and upon his graduation we moved to Scottsdale, AZ where he worked in the aerospace business. Later we moved to Dallas for his work and then on to CO to work for Hewlett Packard. Upon his retirement we move to TX to be with our girls and grandchildren. entary ed. I worked as a long term substitute teacher. My husband & I have been fortunate to be able to see a lot of the world by scuba diving. I love to snorkel, garden, read and travel. I showed competitively in quarter horse shows for 24 years. What a wonderful experience. I am an active member of 2 Altrusa clubs and am a master gardener.. Now we enjoy our 'home away from home' in Bonaire. We travel there for the winter. Enjoying life and looking forward to the next journey down the road. Must be the wanderlust from being an air force brat!
